What is your group all about?

Our main purpose is to foster genuine friendships between women.  We do this by providing effortless ways to make friends through fun events nationwide and “The Pathway to Friendship™” that is scheduled to launch in 2012 a social media website, for members to connect online.  For more information on our mission, please visit the About page.

Do you have branches/franchises?

We do not currently have any branches or franchises.  Everything is run out of our headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

Is there any way to find out before joining if there are any active members in my city?  What if I join and there aren’t any members in my area?

With our nationwide campaign just starting there will be members joining from all over the country, so the chances of members being in your area soon are high.  “The Pathway to Friendship™” is scheduled to launch in 2012, at that time you will be able to connect with members in your area.  The advantages of joining now are the buy one year get another year free or buy 2 year and receive a 2 year free membership.

What events are coming up?

Our website shows all of our upcoming events, and we have some great ones planned!  You must be a member to attend events.  Right now we are promoting The Girlfriends Weekend in 2012, which is a combination of our four-year anniversary party and our Girlfriends Glam Awards^®.  It promises to be a wonderful time and will let you connect with other members nationwide.

What if there aren’t any activities planned in my community?

We can’t be everywhere at once, unfortunately, so we have to space out our events around the country at various times.  We strive to hit major areas and places where there are the most Girlfriends.  We encourage members to consider attending our events as vacation, or “me”, time and use it as an excuse to get away.  If you have location suggestions, we’d love to hear them.

Is “The Pathway to Friendship” just a way to communicate online with other members?

“The Pathway to Friendship™” is a tool we developed to allow you to not only connect online but in person.  It is a great way to chat with members from around the country on various topics/interests, but it’s also a way to find members in your area to hang out with.  Finding genuine friendships can be hard when you don’t have a good avenue to meet people, but with “The Pathway to Friendship™” there will never be a shortage of women to connect with who share your interests.

Why does the refund policy insist on secrecy about the membership policy?

This is for the protection of our members’ privacy.  This prohibits former members from soliciting or releasing potentially harmful personal data about members.  Our members’ privacy is a top priority.  Memberships purchased between December 2011 and January 2012 are entitled to a refund if dissatisfied as late as March 1, 2012.

I’m not ready to join yet, but I want to stay in the loop – is this possible?

Absolutely.  If you aren’t ready to become a member, you can join the Girlfriends Society and remain on our e-mail list so you can be notified of upcoming events.

Are you running any membership specials?

Do you have branches in areas other than Dallas, Texas?

We do not currently have any branches.  Everything is run out of our headquarters in Dallas, Texas.  Our members connect through fun events we hold throughout the country as well as our social media website called “The Pathway to Friendship™,” where members can chat online about various topics as well as find other members located in their area.  If you have any more questions, please let me know!
