Why did you join Girlfriends Meet Up? I am the Web Designer for girlfriendsmeetup.com. It’s rare that I work on a project I am also personally interested in so that is always a pleasure. Who wouldn’t want more girlfriends? I’m looking for Girlfriends to: Have fun with and have things in common with, similar life paths, interests, etc. How long have you lived in Las Vegas? 6 years, since Fall 2002. Do you find it hard to meet new friends? Yes If so why? Everyone has a different lifestyle so it’s hard to find someone on the same path, whether it’s as small as finding someone having the same work hours and free time schedules or as large as lifestyle choices such choosing not to have children etc. Are you shy? Yes. What top characteristics do you look for in a Girlfriend? Down to earth, sincere, intelligent, kind, open-minded, mature, reliable, compassionate and fun. What are your interests? Everyday interests include my cats, eating and living healthy, wine, cooking, exercising, watching movies, going to concerts, gourmet dining, going to the spa and tropical vacations. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Broader interests include humanitarian causes that support women, animals and the environment, alternative sciences such as sleep research, quantum physics, sacred geometry and the paranormal. If you had one wish what would it be? For there to be no more suffering in the world. What would you like Girlfriends to know about you? That I am intelligent, caring, sincere and fun. If you could have lunch with one person who would it be? My father, he passed away when I was 21 and I would love to have a chance to sit down with him again now that I am all grown up and catch up on everything we’ve missed. In a brief statement share why you believe every woman should have Girlfriends? Two sayings I have always held close which I think answer this question well are : “A friend is a gift you give yourself” and “The hand that gives is the hand that gets.” The shelter and comfort a true girlfriend provides is priceless. |
